The UP Billet Rear Trailing Arms (and the similar Billet Rear Traction Arms) work in conjunction with any Model 3 or Model Y to vastly improve road feel and ultimately handling. All driving enthusiasts agree that getting direct feedback, and crisper response with less slop is a great thing. Yet with a car as quiet as a Tesla, a key design factor is achieving this without increased NVH (Noise, Vibration or Harshness) problems.

These arms are machined in the USA from a billet of forged aluminium for extreme strength and light weight versus the cheap factory steel pressings, with sealed spherical bearings inserted to replace the soft, squidgy rubber bushes. Fitment will ensure that your Model 3 or Model Y is returned to better-than-new dynamic responses, and will never again suffer from the renowned prematurely worn bushing failures.

Even when new, the Model 3 and Model Y has more ‘squidge’ in the factory rubber bushings than we would like. With the power and weight that these cars have to cope with, this softness gets more pronounced as the miles increase – until the point of failure when the rubber bushes give up and tear apart. This is where our replacement arms come in. Rather than simply replacing your arms with new factory replacements, our ultra-strong billet Rear Suspension Arm sets are uprated with sealed spherical bearings (just as many high-end performance cars use) to ensure the problem never returns again.

The UP Billet Rear Trailing Arms (and similar Billet Rear Traction Arms) can work in conjunction with either standard factory suspension or a fully-upgraded suspension to benefit road feel and ultimately handling. All driving enthusiasts unanimously agree that getting direct feedback, and crisper response with less slop is a great thing. With a Tesla in particular, a key design factor is achieving this without increased NVH (Noise, Vibration or Harshness) problems. Our use of top quality sealed spherical bearings to replace the soft factory bushings is the key to achieving against all of these aims.

We built every set out of the best materials, we finish them in the most durable finishes and we equip them with the most premium bushings money can buy. Specifically this means we use forged 6061 forged billet which we precision machine in Los Angeles, before finishing in military-grade clear Cerakote ceramic hard coating to showcase the natural billet.

The arms are then paired with a premium car manufacturer’s sealed spherical bushings that are proven to be reliable for hundreds of thousands of miles. Just like the rest of our suspension which is daily driven tested, raced on and (unfortunately) even crash-tested at Pikes Peak, all of our products stand the test of time and carry an industry leading warranty to back it up.

We recommend pairing these with our Billet Rear Trailing Arms at the same time - as if the Traction Arms are worn, the trailing arms are sure to be the same.

No, we don't provide a fitting service. All Unplugged Performance parts are designed and manufactured in a way that any competent professional can install our parts on your Tesla - just the same as on any ICE car.

How long will it take to get my orders?

It depends on where you are. Orders for the UK will be processed immediately and typically take 5-7 business days to arrive.

Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

However, if a product shows as being unavailable from UK stock, we will need to source from the Unplugged Performance USA team in California. In this case we will let you know the expected delivery times as soon as possible.

What about warranty?
